CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Meeting Date: January 18, 2000 Agenda Item <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Request for funding from the Town of Harrisburg for the completion of soccer fields at the <br />Harrisburg Town Park. These soccer fields are intended to replace existing fields at the old <br />Harrisburg Elementary School on Highway 49. <br /> <br />Attached is a letter from Mayor Parmer, the approved CIP for the project, and the approved <br />park site plan. The requested funding of $30,000 will assist the Town with the completion of <br />Phase I activities (as shown in the CIP) that total $315,000. Specifically, the funds will be used <br />for the fine grading, seeding, and sprigging of the soccer fields.
