Specifically, the funds will be used for new agency <br />positions created, or contractually obligated, after January 1,200~). These positions will <br />be dedicated exclusively to the provision of one or more of the following: <br /> <br />· recruitment, training, licensing of prospective foster and adoptive families, including <br /> the completion of pre-placement assessments <br />· post-adoption support services <br />· interstate services <br /> <br />These funds will NOT be used to support positions created prior to January 1, 2000; <br />supplant existing agency effort in recruitment/training/licensing, post-adoption support, <br />or interstate services; or support positions that manage CPS, foster care, pre-adoption, <br />or other type of child welfare cases.
