Resolution No. 2000-11 <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA ) <br /> ) <br />CABARRUS COUNTY ) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cabarrus County has purchased (10) defibrillators with a $35,000.00 <br />grant received from the Cannon Foundation; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 160A-274 provides that any <br />governmental unit may sell to, without consideration, any other governmental unit <br />(including fire districts) any interest in real or personal property that it may own. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of <br />Cabarrus County as follows: <br /> <br /> That in accordance with the provisions of General Statute 160A-274, this Board <br />authorizes the donation of the (10) defibrillators to Cabarrus County First Responder <br />Advisory Board for distribution to the volunteer fire departments in the respective fire <br />districts. <br /> <br />Adopted this 17th day of April 2000. <br /> <br />AR.NE L.
