To do this they will <br />have to train 1500 participants. The event will be open to the students, teachers and gencral public and FREE. <br />The student council felt that if more people lcuew how to do CPR and are prepared to help in cardiac <br />emergencies, it would make our commtm~ty a safer place to live. <br /> <br />Thc initiative, Leadership and or§anizationnl skills exhibited by these young people at NWCHS in plnm~ing this <br />challenging event have been v.e~ impressive. <br /> <br />The Cabarrus Coumy Cl~pter of the American Red Cross is pleased to have bccn asked to providc the <br />rteccssary expertise and resources for this mass CPR ~minin$. Certified instructors will conduct thc training on <br />the campus of NWCHS on Thursday, April 6 beginning at 7:30am. Successful participants must pass n written <br />~est and demonstrate skills correctly to be certified. Eighty percent (80°/$) of all cardiac emergencics happen at <br />home.
