SECTION 1: It is hereby agreed that the County of Cabarrus will act as lead agency in the <br />development of the LCB, and shall be responsible for the compensation of the consultant, as <br />specified in the Agreement for Professional Services between the County of Cabarms and LS3P, <br />hereinafter the Consultant Contract, which is incorporated herein by reference as a part of this <br />agreement. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: It is hereby agreed that the project shall be performed in accordance with the <br />Consultant Contract and shall begin immediately, and will be generally completed within nine <br />months. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: It is hereby agreed that each of the jurisdictions will advance the following <br />sums to the County of Cabarrus for preparation of the LCB; the City of Concord and the City of <br />Kannapolis: $15,500; the Town of Harrisburg: $2,000 and the Town of Mount Pleasant: $1,000; <br />the Cabarrus Health Alliance: $10,000; the Cabarms-South Rowan Metropolitan Planning <br />Organization: $17,000. This total of $61,000 shall be added to the $15,500 budgeted by the lead <br />agency. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4: It is hereby agreed that, if during the progress of the project additional tasks <br />are necessary, or desired by individual jurisdictions, the actual amount of such future <br />contributions shall be determined and budgeted at that time. <br /> <br /> SECTION 5: It is hereby agreed that the jurisdictions will furnish staff, and appropriate <br />documentation, as necessary, to assist the consultant. <br /> <br /> Adopted this __ <br />meeting in <br /> <br />day of May, 2000, in regular session of the <br /> , North Carolina. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Amc L.
