Day <br />Deputy County Manager <br />Cabarrus County <br />PO Box 707 <br />Concord, NC 28026-0707 <br /> <br />This proposal outlines professional services and fees for this project and the Owner's responsibilities. It is our <br />understanding that the Owner is Cabarms County, the City of Concord, the City of Kannapolis, the Town of <br />Harrisburg, the Town of Mt. Pleasant, the Cabarrus Health Alliance and the Cabarrus-South Rowan Metropolitan <br />Planning Organization. LS3P Associates Ltd. (LS3P) is the consultant proposing to provide the services as <br />outlined herein. When both parties sign this proposal it will become the Agreement to provide professional <br />services as follows: <br /> <br />BASIC SERVICES <br />A. GENERAL <br /> The Scope of Basic Services for this project shall include the preparation of a Livable Community <br /> Blueprint for Cabarrus County, NC. This project will require the services of Allees as a <br /> PedestriardBikeway/Greenway consultant to be contracted with LS3P as part of this agreement. <br /> LS3P shall provide planning services and serve as overall coordinator for the preparation of the <br /> Planning documents. <br />B. PROJECT SCHEDULE <br /> A comprehensive project schedule will be developed at the initial Kick-off meeting by the Steering <br /> Committee and LS3P Associates Ltd. This schedule will set out a time frame for completion of <br /> each step/phase of the Project. The general overall completion of the project will range from 8-9 <br /> months. This overall time frame is contingent upon minimal scheduling conflicts by the Project <br /> Steering Committee and may be adjusted if unforeseen circumstances develop during the course of <br /> the project. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />PRELIMINARY PLANNING SERVICES <br />A. Begin gathering existing data from the Owner that would be useful as planning criteria. As a <br /> minimum, data shall include: <br /> t. Potential public lands that may be converted to public parks.
