Child Protection Team meetings are: <br /> February <br /> March ~ <br /> April' <br /> May <br /> June <br /> August <br /> September <br /> November <br /> December <br /> <br />Child Fatality Team meetings are: <br />January <br />April <br />July <br />October <br /> <br />15.CCPT has organized and led two Children,s Vigils that received <br /> extensive publicity and media coverage. Members have spoken <br /> to church's and civic groups. Additional members have been <br /> recruited in the last year from across the community. <br /> <br />16.The CCPT conducted a child fatality review in Ma~ 2000 regard~ <br /> ing the death of a 2 1/2 month old infant. From the subsequent <br /> report came recommendations, including community education <br /> regarding infant safety. The CCPT has experienced grief in th <br /> the review and in the recent Children's Vigil in April 2000 <br /> Which honored the memory of 25 children who died, many of <br /> theme, infants. Two in~ants were Cabarrus County children. <br /> This project supports the mission of child protection and <br /> prevention and targets the most vulnerable population of <br /> children, newborns and infants. <br /> <br /> <br />
