He said if the Board wants to direct staff in a separate motion to study this and bring it back at recommendation, that is something else. Mr. Moose said if we cannot decline it based on the adequate facilities ordinance, which we cannot do, there is really no other alternative to pass it. They are going to limit the amount of usage that land is going to have. They are going to control in a positive way what can be done on that property. The vote was 5 to 4 to deny Petition C00-06(R). Ms. Kiker, Mr. Love, Mr. Carl Hill, Mr. Drye, and Mr. Dwiggins for denial. Mr. Moose, Mr. Hobbs, Ms. Davis, and Mr. Ed Hill against denial. Petition C00-06(R) Denied. The Chair said the motion carries but not a sufficient enough margin to be final. The County Commissioners will review it. Mr. Carl Hill said to the Chair the Board needs to get some type of standard here that fits all type of housing units. The Chair said he thinks that is what the UDO does. Mr. Carl Hill MOTIONED to direct staff to come up with some type of verbiage that will include multi-family dwellings in the adequate facilities ordinance to be sent to the Commissioners, seconded by Mr. Drye. The vote was unanimous.
