This plan played a key role in obtaining <br />new funds for Florida transportation. <br /> <br />Facilitator for consensus building session on location of a new civic center in Gwinnett <br />County, Georgia in 1986. The center opened in the consensus corridor in November <br />1992. <br /> <br />Reynolds, Smith & Hills, Inc. and its predecessors/subsidiaries (1965 to 1996) Board <br />Member (1978 to 1996); Vice President (1972 to 1974); President, PLANTEC <br />Corporation (1974 to 1987); Senior Vice President (1987 to 1993); and Senior Consultant <br />(1993 tO 1996). <br /> <br />Led effort to move the jail location from riverfront of downtown Jacksonville in 1986- <br />1987, including chairing chamber task force, locating a proposed buyer and working with <br />numerous public and private interest to finalize new location. <br /> <br />Member, Duval County Research and Development Authority, I984-92 and 1994- <br />Present. Chairman 1986-1992.
