Gate <br />purchased 16,000 acres including Ponte Vedra and Deerwood Clubs and six miles <br />of oceanfront. Advisor to Gate in the purchase of Epping Forest and 700 acres of <br />industrial property on Blount Island. <br /> <br />Advisor to TFC in refinancing its debt in February 1983. TFC increased equity per share <br />from $.45 to $3.61 with the refinancing. Served on TFC Board from 1.980 to 1983 and as <br />chairman for the last thirteen months. Originated the merger of Fairfield Communities, <br />Inc. And TFC- effective December 6, 1983. Served on the Fairfield Board from 1983 <br />until 1986. <br /> <br />Facilitator for strategic planning retreat for WJCT Television and Radio, Jacksonville, <br />Florida, 1992. <br /> <br />Participated in an evaluation and quantification of economic impacts attributable to sea <br />and airport activity in Jacksonville, Florida, involved in development of long- range <br />master plans for Port Everglades and the Port of Jacksonville, two of Florida's major <br />seaports. The Jacksonville Master Plan in the early 1980's resulted in a commitment to a <br />high-growth scenario with a major marketing effort aimed at regaining the seaport's <br />market share position on the South Atlantic. <br /> <br />Developed a Community Reinvestment Plan for First Federal of Augusta, Georgia. <br />Worked with the City of Augusta and First Federal to develop a rehabilitation loan <br />program using CDBG funds. <br /> <br />Advisory to Harbor Federal in solving real estate asset problems from 1986 to 1992. <br />Developed restructuring plans for over $60 million in distressed real estate and assisted in <br />securing regulatory approval for the plans.
