Procedures include private negotiation and sale, sale by sealed <br />bids, auction, upset bids, and exchanges; and, <br /> WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 160A-279 provides that any <br />governmental unit may convey personal property to any other entity carrying <br />out a public purpose, without compensation. <br /> NOW THERRFORR BE IT RESOLED, by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus <br />County as follows: <br /> That in accordance with the provisions of' Gene'ral Statute 160A-267, <br />this Board authorizes the County Purchasing Agent to dispose of the above <br />referenced personal property no earlier than ten (10) days after a notice <br />summarizing the contents of the resolution is published once. Further, <br />the Board authorized the County Manager to sign Amendment ~1 on behalf of <br />Cabarrus County. The price scale for the extended period was as follows <br /> <br /> <br />
