One trust administered by Wachovia has a market <br />value of approximately $307,000.00. The other trust account referred to as <br />the Odell Trust amounts to approximately $1,100.00 and is administered by <br />First Charter National Bank. These funds are to be used for the Library or <br />the establishment of additional library branches within the boundaries of the <br />City of Concord. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Privette and <br />unanimously carried, the Board authorized the liquidation and transfer of <br />funds from the Cannon Memorial Library trust account administered hy Wachovta <br />Bank and the Odell trust account administered by First Charter National Bank <br />back to Cabarrus County for management by the Cabarrus County Finance <br />Department. <br /> <br />Budget Amendment - Development Services (Co-.~unications System) <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Privette and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment for the <br />purchase of telephones/two-way radios for the enforcement officers within the <br />Development Services Department. The amendment will requirs <br />the subd~v_ider to show oa the final plat for a subdivision the location of <br />the 100-year flood elevation and location of the buffer strip as required by <br />the River/Stream Overlay. <br /> <br /> At 6:45 p.m., Chairman Fennel opened the public hearing on the proposed <br />Subdivision Text Amendment and asked if anyone wished to speak either for or <br />against the proposed amendment. The Public Hearing Notice was published in <br />THE CHA/~LOTTE OBSERVER (Cabarrns Neigh-bors) on September 10 and 17, 2000. <br /> <br /> There was no one present who wished to address the Board, and Chairman <br />Fennel closed the public hearing. <br /> <br /> UPON MQTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Casper <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />
