30. Table 4.16-2 Do the question marks in front of the prohibited uses mean anything?

· Those were editorial in nature. All staff issues have been resolved.

.31. 4.17.6.2 Should that reference be MH-2 instead of MH-l?

· Yes, it needs to be changed.

32. 4.17.8.1 The design standards do not seem to fit for manufactured home subdivisions and the term
subdivision does not appear in the text ttmt follows. Is the title correct?

Agree. A manufactured home subdivision should meet the standards (~oads, water, sewer,
septic, etc.) of any other subdivision. The word Subdivision should be removed from the
title.

33. 4.17.8.2.9 The parallel orientation for Type I Mobile Homes will not work with the lot design
standards of Table 4.17-1. Also all other references appear to deal with 15 feet as the width not
seventeen feet. (see definitions).

Staff is reviewing Jerry's first statement so that the appropriate change can be
recommended. The definitions in 4.17 and in Appendix A need to be adjusted so that they
match.

ARTICLE 5

1. 5.4.3.6 All livestock fencing is to be 150 feet from a dwelling unit. Is this the typical standard?
Are agricultural uses and activities exempt from county zonino~?

The wording should be changed to read "buildings housing livestock" instead of livestock
fencing. This change would carry forward current County policy. Yes, agricultural uses are
exempt from County zoning.

2. 5.8.1.12
wide?

Why are coat.ground walkways required to be all-weather surface and at least 4 feet

This paragraph should be revised to define what an ali-weather surface is and where and
what walkways will be required to comply with this section. The intent is to have accessible
paths to areas of concentrated activity such as a bathhouse, clubhouse, etc.

3. 5.8.1.14 Why require a tree at from of the campground spaces? Same campers are very difficult
to back in and tree placements should be flerdble.

The standard requires one tree per two spaces so each tree could be planted between the two
spaces and not inhibit access. In addition, the mature size of the tree is not specified so a
smaller matffring tree could be planted to further reduce any conflict between access to a
space and the required trees.

4. 5.9

It seems that the minimum setbacks could follow that of the respective zoning district.

Will discuss with other jurisdictions to determine the reason for the additional setbacks.

11
