INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />This proposal outlines the approach, scope of services, schedule and fees for the preparation of <br />a Downtown Parking Management Study for Concord, North Carolina. A general discussion <br />of study issues to be addressed, our recommended study organization and approach and a <br />description of the anticipated scope of work is described as well.. <br /> <br />Several meetings will be held with organizations involved with parking in downtown Concord <br />including Concord Main Street, the Chamber of Commerce and City Officials. During the course <br />of these meetings issues such as: <br /> <br />· parking enforcement; <br /> <br />· the multiplicity of agencies involved in various aspects of parking; <br /> <br />· the need to build upon past study efforts; <br /> <br />· city and county parking needs; <br /> <br />· getting more parking on-street; <br /> <br />· parking meters; <br /> <br />· coordinating with other current planning efforts, and <br /> <br />· building a consensus on the implementation of parking recommendations will be discussed. <br /> <br />The Consultants will address these issues and others that may arise during the course of the study. <br />That is the purpose for organizing a steering committee and for four meetings proposed with this <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
