Average length of stay: Varies <br />Note: Cabarrus County has a strong Community Service program. The caseload <br />averages around 200 per month, and there is a mixture of unsupervised and supervised <br />probationers, as well as juveniles, DWI's and deferred prosecution cases. All intensive <br />cases have Community Service responsibilities. The Cabarrus Community Service <br />Coordinator is an active member of the CJP Advisory Board. <br /> <br />PIEDMONT BEEIAVIORAL ltEALTlt CARE - CABARRUS CENTER <br />Location: South Cannon Blvd,, Kannapolis, N.C. 28083; phone: 704-939-1100 <br />Services: A full range of mental health, substance abuse and developmentally disabled <br />services are available, including outpatient, individual, family and group psychiatric and <br />psychological treatment, emergency services, referral/accreditation for more intensive <br />levels of treatment (hospitalization, residential), etc. <br />Note: Cabarrus Community Corrections Division uses the Cabarrus Family Recovery, <br />Center, the substance abuse treatment arm of Piedmont Behavioral Health Care. A <br />complete description of the treatment protocol offered at the Center is included in the <br />appendix. Phone: 704-788-1108 (office); 788-1109 - non-dedicated, call first: <br />788-2826 - 24-hour crisis line. <br />Services: Shelter for battered women and their children; court advocacy/accompaniment: <br />information and referral; support groups; hospital accompaniment for women who have <br />been raped; community education. <br />Note: There are two facilities, and Cabarrus DCC uses these for battered women as <br />needed. <br /> <br />TItE SALVATION ARMY <br />Location: 216 Patterson Avenue;.
