Mr. Evans
Page 2
April 28, 1999

Item A. 7 Capital Improvement Plan - WSACC has adopted a Capital Improvement Plan which
includes both phases of the Adams Creek Interceptor. The title page and table of contents of this
plan are attached.

[tent B. 7 Sewer Use Ordinance - WSACC has adopted a Sewer Use Ordinance that has been
previously accepted by the Construction Grants & Loan Section. Attached is a letter dated March
11, 1999 fi.om John R. Blowe to WSACC confirming acceptance.

Item B. 8 Capital Reserve Fund- WSACC has established a Capital Expansion Reserve. A copy
of the resolution will be transmitted in the near future.

· Item B. IO Sites Required - All sites necessary for this project are currently being obtained by
WSACC. Site certificates will be provided when all fight-of-way is acquired.

In addition, Dewberry & Davis, the design engineer, has submitted final plans and specifications to
Cecil Madden of Construction Grants & Loans.

Please note that this project will eliminate two problem pump stations currently owned and operated
by the Town of Mt. Pleasant. Both of these stations are aged (over 50 years old) and have had
overflows. I've attached copies of correspondence between the Mooresville office of DENR and the
Town documenting one incident with the Summer Street pump station.

I trust this additional information will complete our application and that it and the supporting
documents will be processed. If you have any further questions or need additional information, please
do not hesitate to call Sandy Tripp of Camp Dresser & McKee (704-342-4546).

Respectfully,

County

FWC/dpl

Attachments

CC:

Mark Lambert, WSACC
Sandy Tripp, CDM
