Who is leading the Partnership for Tomorrowinitiative? The Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Partnership for Tomorrow. The fundraising campaign to underwrite the five-year program is chaired by Mike Coltrane, President of CT Communications. Troy Day, CEO of Day Enterprises, and Roy Davis, President of S & D Coffee, will serve as the Chairmen of the Campaign Leadership Council, along with a number of corporate and community leaders who have also volunteered their time and energy to lead Partnership for Tomorrow. .~ Will I have an opportunity to get involved in Par~ership for Tomorrow? Yes. The Partnership for Tomorrow Strategic Plan calls for a number of corporate and community projects focused on economic and community development. Every business leader in the Cabarrus County area will have the opportunity to participate directly in this initiative. Who will administer the Partnership for Tomorrow tTve-yearplan? At the conclusion of the Partnership for Tomorrow campaign, a steering committee will be established. This committee, comprised of corporate and community leaders, as well as the leadership from the Partnership for Tomorrow initative, will account for all pledge receipts and disbursements and oversee the implementation of the five-year program. The Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the Partnership for Tomorrow program. .Will we be kept informed o£the results o£the Partnership for Tomorrow prognun ? Yes. You will receive periodic reports, including progress updates through a column in the Chamber's monthly M£MBERSnewsle~er. You will also be invited to an annual Stakeholders' Meeting to learn of the program's progress, to hear about the previous year's accomplishments and to chart the activities of the program for the coming year. ~ Willmy company receive recognition of its invesOnent in Partnership for Tomorrow? Yes. The Partnership for Tomorrow Honor Roll will be published in local newspapers at the conclusion of the campaign. In addition, a special plaque will be erected at the Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce recognizing every member of the Partnership for Tomorrow. Who developed the Partnership for Tomorrow Strategic Plan? The Strategic Plan is the product of more than 30 corporate, community and government leaders who worked together over several months to identify the challenges facing Cabarrus County and formulate a cohesive five-year plan to address those issues. .~ Can I get additional in£onnation on Partnership for Tomorrow ?
