BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />Monday, November 15, 1999 <br /> <br /> Staff Use Only: <br /> Approved: __ <br /> Denied: <br /> I"ablccl: <br /> <br />Street Analysis: Direct access to the subdivision would be provided by Rocky River Road, <br /> an existing 60' public R/W. <br /> Rocky Meadows Lane would be a new 45' R/W serving as the primary route <br /> through the subdivision. <br /> <br /> Blake Brook Drive, Rock Bass Court, Duck Point Drive, Babbling Brook <br /> Lane, Brandon Chase Lane, and Merrymount Court would be new 40' or <br /> 45' R/W's serving the remainder of individual lots. <br /> <br /> The petitioner has also proposed a landscaped median located at the <br /> entrance of the subdivision off of Rocky River Road. <br /> <br />Adequate Public Facilities Comments: <br /> <br />Note: The following comments were submitted by the referenced departments/agencies and pertain to <br />whether or not the services/facilities that each department provides are adequate to meet the demands of <br />the proposed development. <br /> <br />A preliminary OK from the following departments/agencies should in no way be construed as final <br />approval for a service or facility. <br /> <br />Water/Wastewater Provider: City of Concord Engineering, Andy Lovingood <br /> <br />Emergency Services: Dennis Mauney and Greg Walters <br /> <br />EMS: Ron Harwood <br /> <br />Erosion Control: Tony Johnson <br />NCDOT: <br /> <br />School District: Robert Kluttz <br /> <br />See Exhibit 2 for details. <br /> <br />Sheriff's Dept: Phil Patterson <br /> <br />Soil Conservation: Dennis Testerman <br /> <br />WSACC: Mark Lomax <br /> <br />Zoning and Subdivision Regulation: Mike Downs and Mike Byrd <br /> <br />Conclusions: <br /> <br />Randy Humphrey is appealing the decision of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and have submitted this preliminary plat for approval by the <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />The subdivision is residential in nature and consists of 142 proposed lots. <br /> Page 2 oi'3 <br /> Rocky Meadows <br /> <br /> <br />
