OVERVIEW OF STATE FUNDS TO <br />CENTRAl.INA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br /> FY 1998-99 <br /> <br />Maintained a regional building permit tracking system involving ten North Carolina <br />Counties. All permitting jurisdictions within these counties participate in this project. A <br />study showing growth and development patterns in the lO-county region and developed, <br />published, and distributed. <br /> <br />Centralina's Data Center continued to develop and maintain a library of Census and other <br />demographic data available for use and distribution by interested persons in the public and <br />private sectors. Staff answered data-inquiries from persons in the public and private sectors <br />and produced individualized small-scale studies on an as-requested basis. <br /> <br />Prepared CDBG and HOME SFR applications for member governments. Attended <br />conferences related to CDBG applications. <br /> <br />Assisted with the preparation of the annual North Carolina American Planners Association <br />Conference. <br /> <br />Co-sponsored with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission two regional forums <br />on proposed interchange improvements on 1-485. <br /> <br />Hosted quarterly Planners meetings. <br /> <br /> <br />
