Resolution No. 1999~ <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF <br /> SURPLUS PROPERTY TO THE <br />CONCORD PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 153A-176 and 160A-274 sets forth <br />authority for privately negotiated exchanges of personal property between two governmental <br />entities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cabarms County has possession of 107 chairs that were previously used in <br />the auditorium of the Cabarrus County Library, Cannon Memorial Branch, and are now surplus <br />to the needs of Cabarrus County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Concord Parks and Recreation Department has requested these <br />chairs for use in programs at their various sites. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of <br />Cabarms County as follows: <br /> <br /> That in accordance with the provisions of General Statute 153A-176 and 160A-274, this <br />Board authorizes the transfer of the surplus 107 auditorium chairs to the City of Concord Parks <br />and Recreation Department. <br /> <br />Adopted this 20th day of December, 1999. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Chairman, Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
