NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />TYPICAL SEDIMENTATION AND EROSION <br />CONTROL PLAN FOR LAND-DISTURBING <br />ACTIVITIES LESS THAN ONE ACRE. <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY SOIL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL <br />ORDINANCE AND SEDIMENTATION POLLUTION CONTROL ACT OF 1973 <br />REQUIRES The Financial Responsible Party of the land disturbing activity is required to install <br />adequate sediment control measures on there propexty. Failure to take all reasonable measures (Section 6 <br />(e), 15A lq.C.A.C.4B.0005) can result in fines up to five hundred dollars ($500.00) per day for this <br />violation. <br /> <br />The enclosed plan is to aid the Financial Responsible Party in complying with the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Please note, land-disturhances greater than one acre must be approved by the Development Services <br />Department prior to starting activity. <br /> <br />Also note, a Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued if the tract of land is in violation of the Ordinance. <br />(However, a temporary Certificate of Occupancy may be issued if the person conducting the land- <br />disturbing activity is making substantial progress toward complying.) <br /> <br />Sediment control measures must remain in place until the ground cover is established to restrain the soil <br />from excelamted erosion. <br /> <br />Building Permit # <br /> <br />I, the Financial Responsible Party or undersigned, have read and understand the requirements within this <br />plan and will comply with The Cabarms.
