Section 1-7(a), General Penalty, of the Code of Ordinances for Cabarms County currently reads <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 1-7. General Penalty. <br /> <br />(a) Any person violating or failing, refusing or neglecting to comply with any provision or <br />requirement of any section or subsection of this Code, or any ordinance of this county now in <br />force or hereafter enacted, to which no specific penalty is affixed, shall be punished by a fine not <br />to exceed $500.00, or shall be imprisoned for not more than 30 days, for each offense. <br /> <br />It is recommended that the Board adopt the following amendment pursuant to North <br />Carolina General Statute 14-4: <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1998 - 03 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED that Section 1-7(a), General Penalty, of the Code of Ordinances, Cabarrus <br />County, North Carolina, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 1-7.
