CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> North Carolina <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />Emergency Medical Services personnel provide essential lifesaving medical care <br />to the citizens of Cabarms County in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week; <br />and <br /> <br />WmZREAS, <br /> <br />several hundred paramedics, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, first <br />responders, emergency room physicians and nurses are involved in providing <br />emergency care around the clock; and <br /> <br />a large number of these individuals unselfishly volunteer their time to provide <br />this valuable service; and <br /> <br />the members of emergency medical services teams, whether career or volunteer, <br />engage in thousands of hours of specialized training and continuing education to <br />enhance their lifesaving skills; and <br /> <br />recognition is due all of these individuals to show appreciation for the value and <br />the accomplishments of all of these individuals who serve on behalf of all <br />Cabarrus County residents. <br /> <br />NOW, TlllgREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Cabarms County Board of <br />Commissioners, hereby proclaim the week of May 17 - 23, 1998, as <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK <br /> <br />This 20st day April, 1998. <br /> <br />Sue B.
