The Committee meets <br />about once every three months and advises the staff and COG Board on the Area Plan, <br />allocation of funds, etc. <br /> <br />C. Specific Requests <br /> <br />Betty Babb has served two full terms for a total of four years and is eligible for <br />reappointment. She is currently serving as the Committee's Vice-Chairperson. <br />Jean Brownlow has moved to another state. Her term expires 6-30:99. A new person <br />should be appointed to complete this unexpired term. <br />Estelle Ferraro has served as an Alternate for three years and may be reappointed for <br />another one-year term if you wish, or may be appointed to the above unexpired term <br />and a new person appointed to the one-year Alternate position which ends 6-30-99. <br /> <br />Please supply Sue Archer a list of nominations and appointees (including name, title, <br />company/agency, address, and phone numbers) by July 1, 1998. <br /> <br />II. Centralina Workforce Development Board (WDB) <br /> <br />A. Current Membership <br /> <br />Cabarrus County has four (4) members on the twenty (20) member Centralina Workforce <br />Development Board (WDB). The Cabarms County Commissioners will select and approve <br />nominations for WDB members based on the slate of nominations presented by the <br />appropriate agencies and organizations listed under "General Information". Each WDB <br />member is appointed to serve a two-year term.
