TI0: Chapter 42. as well as information provided to the Commissioners by the Lincoln <br />County DSS. we have determined that the "minimum standards" are not adequate to <br />protect our citizenry, in placement against having to live and reside in a less that sub- <br />standard lifestyle. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Lincoln County recommend that the Division of Facility Services, Group Care Licensure <br />Section review and modify the Rules for Licensing of Adult Care Homes with the intent <br />to upgrade the "minimum standards" that facilities currently operate under, and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Lincoln County recommend that no currently licensed facility be "grandfathered in" <br />exempting them from complying with the new upgraded "minimum standards" <br />recommended by the Board of County Commissioners, and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Lincoln County recommend that the Division of Facility. Services support the Department <br />of Social Services in retaining the monitoring responsibilities of all Adult Care Homes at <br />the local level to assure a ';quick response" to compliance problems and to assure the <br />health, safety, and welfare of residents residing in Adult Care Homes within Lincoln <br />County <br /> <br />Adopted this 20th day of April. 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Louis E.
