NORTH CAROLINA 28092 <br /> 704/736-8473 FAX 704/735-0273 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> <br />MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR ADULT CARE HOMES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, we the Board of County Commissioners of Lincoln County, North <br />Carolina are elected officials by and for the people of Lincoln County North Carolina. <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, xve the Board of County Commissioners of Lincoln County are <br />charged with the health, safety, and welfare of each individual residing within our <br />County, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, we the Board of County Commissioners of Lincoln County are <br />charged with the responsibility of appointment of a Community Advisory. Board to visit <br />and review conditions of Adult Care Homes licensed and operating within Lincoln <br />County, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, we the Board of County Commissioners review reports made by the <br />Community Advisory. Board of the conditions of Adult Care Homes operating within <br />Lincoln County, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, we the Board of County Commissioners have reviewed the <br />minimum standards of Rules for the Licensing of Adult Care Homes, NCAC, Title 10: <br />Chapter 42, <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Count' <br />Commissioners of Lincoln County recommend that all facilities operating an Adult Care <br />Home within this County, adhere to and maintain their facility at or above the minimum <br />standards set forth and outlined in the NCAC, TI0: Chapter 42, and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Lincoln County, after having heard reports filed to us by the Community Care Advisory. <br />Board on concerns with respect to an Adult Care Home's operation within Lincoln <br />County, and after reviewing the DFS, Rules for Licensing of Adult Care Homes, NCAC, <br /> <br /> <br />
