I am pleased to
be able to share both of these documents with you at this time.

Regarding the Participant Survey Results, we received useable
data from 548 of our 625 participants. This data will prove very
helpful as we look to future collection events here in Cabarrus
County. To quickly summarize the data:

A majority of our participants (57%) learned about'the
collection day through the.newspaper, -~ ...........

62% of the participants would.have continued.to.store bhe
Rq{W resulting in potential spill or leakage problems.

36% recommended a bi-annual collection day rather than an
annual event (29%).

94% of the participants brought HHW only from their own
houses.

98% of the participants lived in Cabarrus County, with 77%
inside city limits.

75% of the participants came from Concord, followed by 9%
from Harrisburg, 8% from Kannapolis, 7% from Mt. Pleasant
and 1% from Midland.

99% of the participants found the collection site
convenient, the day of the week convenient and the time
convenient.

Feel free to read for yourself the positive comments and
suggestions which we received from the 548 participants.
survey proved to be an excellent means to gather this
information.

The

Employment and program opportunities are offered to all people regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or handicap.
North Carolina State University, North Carolina A&T State University, U.$.
