Radio communications. <br /> <br />Dispatch of first responders and necessary communications will be as follows: <br /> <br />(1) Only the dispatch will be on the county fire frequency (-t-54-340). <br /> <br /> t~ ¢¢ ,:m so that <br />(2) All communications by first responder will be on the ambulance frequency t .... <br />the responding ambulance crew will receive all information without the need for an information <br />relay and ali non-relevant communications will be kept offthe fire frequency. Advanced life support care. <br /> <br />All first responder organizations who that wish to function as an expansion of the county <br />emergency medical service's 0EMT) advanced life support (ALS) program must meet the <br />following guidelines: <br /> <br />(1) The expansion package will be done through the county department of emergency medical <br />services cx~c <br /> <br />(2) First responder organizations must participate in the county department of emergency <br />medical ' <br /> servmes ..... audit and review. <br /> <br />(3) All ALS call sheets must be forwarded to the county Eq~,8-emergency medical services <br />assistant director mairth~o~E~x~ on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />(4) All training for ALS certification and re-certification will be provided by the county <br />emergency medical services department EMS and will follow county emergency medical <br />services EM£ guidelines. <br /> <br />(5) Names, certifications, and training records of first responder members at the ALS level will <br />be on file with and approved by county emergency medical services departmentEM& <br /> <br />(Ord. of 12-7-92(2), § 18) <br /> <br /> <br />
