EXHIBIT A to Petition to Close Public Road/Easement (Quay Road) (S.R. //1446) submitted <br />by Palisades Properties, Inc. <br /> <br />Description of Portion of Roadway to be Closed <br /> <br />Being so much of that certain parcel of land lying, being and situate in Cabarrus County, North <br />Carolina, having a width of sixty (60) feet, more or less, and being located thirty (30) feet on <br />either side of the fro'ruer centerline of Quay Road, more particularly described as follows: ' <br /> <br />TO FIND THE POINT AND PLACE OF BEGINNING, start at an "x" cut in the top of a <br />concrete slab of a drop '_inlet which is located at the intersection of the southwesterly right-of-way <br />margin of the new alignment of Quay Road (S.R.//1446) and the southerly right-of-way margin <br />of King's Grant Boulevard; thence follow the southwesterly right-of-way margin of Quay Road <br />(new alignment) South 26-25-19 East 135.68 feet to a point in the centerline of the old alignment <br />of Quay Road, the point and place of BEGINNING; thence from said beginning point with the <br />former centerline of Quay Road six (6) courses and distances, as follows: (1) North 61-00-36 <br />West 62.09 feet to a point; (2) North 68-39-53 West 80.68 feet to a point; (3) North 75-26-04 <br />West 72.98 feet to a point; (4) North 78-51-50 West 96.07 feet to a point; (5) North 81-54-13 <br />West 248.56 feet to a point; and (6) North 82-22-12 West 152.47 feet to a point in the line of <br />Frank Helms and wife, Joan Helms (now or formerly), as shown on that certain p!at of survey <br />for Palisades Properties, Inc. dated February 9, 1998, and last revised May 29, 1998 by Scott <br />L.
