223 <br /> <br />L~ke Concord Prolect <br /> <br /> Hr. Hartsell reported that the due diligence period for the option on the <br />Lake Concord property by Lake Concord Ventures, Inc, expired on December 9. He <br />indicated there may still be an interest in pursuing the proposed project. Mr. <br />Hartsell and Mr. Clifton will make a report to the Board on January 21 regarding <br />the Lake Concord project. <br /> <br />Donation of Fluorescent LiKht Tubes - Shat-roshield Corporation <br /> <br /> Mr. Clifton reported that Cabarrus County had received donated fluorescent <br />light tubes from Shat-r-shield Corporation. The tubes or protective shields are <br />seconds and cannot be sold by the company. This will be an ongoing project with <br />the value of the tubes received to date estimated at $2,500.00. The Board went <br />on record acknowledging the generous offer by Shat-r-shield to benefit the <br />citizens of Caharrus County.
