State <br />law dictates that manufactured housing may not be completely excluded from a <br />municipal zoning ordinance. It does not address County zoning ordinances and <br />it does not prokibit the elimination of mobile home parks as one of the places in <br />wlzich they are permitted. If tt~is law were applied to Cabarrus County, the <br />mobile home park use would be eliminated, but mobile homes would still be <br />permitted on individual lots in the Agricultural Open, Low Density Residential, <br />and Countryside Residenhal districts. <br /> <br />I hope this i~fformation is helpful to you.
