Murphy ~~a'~x <br /> <br />DATE: May 8, 1997 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: CONGREGATE NUTRITION CONTRACT FOR FOOD SERVICES <br /> <br />Attached please find the contract for catering services for the Department of Aging Congregate <br />Nutrition Program. This contract represents our recommendation to renew this contract as <br />allowed in item number 2 on page 1. <br /> <br />We have developed a good working relationship with Service America and they are providing us <br />with good service. This contract represents a cost increase of $. 16 per meal. However, we have <br />attempted to identify another company to provide this service. We have not been able to find any <br />other company that can deliver these meals for a lesser cost. <br /> <br />After discussing our contract with the other seven Congregate Nutrition Programs in our region, <br />the Centralina Area Agency on Aging and Sherri Barnhardt, we respectfully request that this <br />contract be renewed for another one-year term. <br /> <br /> Department of Aging <br />P. o.
