01/10/1996 14:00 704-788-8058 HARTSELL,SPAINHOUR,$ PAGE 03/04 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a meeting and supplemental public hearing (the <br />"Hearing-2") on the closing cf the Road has been held before the <br />Board at ?:00 p.m. on the 16th day of January, 1996 in the <br />Co~u~issioners' Room of the Cabarrus County Governmental Center, <br />Concord, North Carolina/ and <br /> <br /> WHZREAS, at the Hearing-2, the ~oard heard all interested <br />persons who appeared with respect to whe=her closing the Road would <br />be detrimental either to the public interest or to any individual <br />property rights, at which Hearing-2 the following persons spoke: <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the Board is satisfied that closing the Road is not <br />contrary to ~he puDlic interest and that no individual owning <br />property in the vicinity of the Road or in the s~!bdivision in which <br />it is located would be deprived of reasonable means of ingress and <br />egress to his or her property; <br /> <br />NOW, T~E~.EFORE, IT IS ORDERED that: <br />t. The Road, to wit, Nor~hside Avenue for a distance of 243 <br />feet west of its intersection with Broadway Street {SR 1111), in <br />No. 10 Township, Midland, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, be and <br />the same is hereby closed. <br /> <br /> 2. A certified copy of this Order be filed in the Office of <br />the Register of Deeds for Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> 3. Pursuant to G.S. 153(a)-241, upon closing the Road, all <br />righ=, title and interest in the Road is vested in those persons <br />owning lots or parcels of land adjacent thereto, and the title of <br /> <br /> <br />
