They have expressed interest in purchasing a surplus <br />ambulance as it becomes available. <br /> <br />At a recent meeting of the volunteer fire departments, it was unanimously decided that Midland be <br />allowed to purchase the next available ambulance, as their need is the greatest. <br /> <br />Upon adoption of the resolution before you, I will negotiate with Midland Volunteer Fire <br />Department for the purchase of this ambulance. Also, it is necessary for a notice of the resolution <br />to be published.
