ACHCAC members provided supDort to the Cabarrus County Adult Care Home <br /> Work Group's Continuing Education Committee which Dlanned continuing <br /> education programs for Adult Care Home staffs and attended several of <br />_ those training events. <br /> 2. Active ACHCAC members made friendly visits, the required quarterly and <br />-- annual monitoring visits, and attended the four (4) quarterly <br /> training/business meetings with the Ombudsman, <br /> 3. Made inquiries to local agencies/organizations to help develop <br /> activities for residents with sDecial needs. <br /> 4. Provided support to Adult Care Homes with special needs serving special <br />-- poDulations (i.e. mentally handicapDed). <br /> 5. New ACHCAC members attended required in-facility orientation sessions. <br /> 6.
