He explained that the architects had identified more <br />desirable and/or essential design elements in drawing up the plans. These <br />elements accounted for $41,346.00 of the $46,628.00 budget short fall. Mr. Ken <br />Griffin, Architect, and Sheriff Robert Canaday responded to questions regarding <br />a number of the items which were added during the design process. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mills, seconded by Commissioner Niblock with <br />Commissioners Mills, Nlblock and Casper and Chairman Barnhart voting for and <br />Commissioner Fennel voting against, the Board approved the budget amendment as <br />shown below for the Courthouse Security System and awarded the projects co the <br />low bidders as follows: Alterations to Courthouse - Ltles Construction - <br />$79,900.00; Security System - SFI Electronics - $85,980.00; X-Ray Unic and Metal <br />Detectors - Security Defense - $30,748.00.
