<br /> Chairman Barnhart proposed that he, the County Manager, the Chairman of
<br />each School Board and the two School Superintendents meet to discuss the next
<br />step in addressing the issues identified during the Education S.~mfts. There
<br />was general consensus to this proposal by members of the Board of Commissioners
<br />and the two School Boards.
<br />
<br /> Hr. Lee E£ird, Chairman of the Kannapolis Board of Education, thanked
<br />Chairman Barnhart for his involvement with the Education Summits. Further, he
<br />expressed appreciation to the Board for its support in calling for the recent
<br />school bond referendum.
