The County shall re{mhurse the Department 100% of the <br />actual cost of the work perfoAa~d by the Department and associated <br />with the installation of said signs. Based on the estimated cost of <br />said work, the County shall submit a check for $3,800 to the <br />Department's 10th Division Engineer upon execution of this agreement <br />by the County. Upon completion of the project, if the actual costs <br />exceed the estimated ~mount of payment, the County shall re~.mhurse <br />the Department any underpayment within thirty days of billing by the <br />Department. If actual costs are less than $3,800, the Department <br />shall reimburse the County any 6verpayment. A late payment penalty <br />and interest shall be charged on any unpaid balance due in accordance <br />with G.S. 147-86.23 and G.S. 105~241.1. <br /> <br /> 3. Upon completion of the project, the County shall be solely <br />responsible for all maintenance costs associated with the signs, and <br />the Department shall be released from any and all damages or claims <br />for damages associated with the signs. <br /> <br /> IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED that the approval of the project by <br />the Department and the County are subject to the conditions of this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
