Trccs will bc displayed <br />in the lobby of the Cabarrus County Governmental Ccntar. SudgJng will begin at 5 P.M. on Wednesday, December 18, <br />199~. Trees need to be put up on December t 1-13 or December 1~.17 (scheduling will be coordinated by the County <br />Manager's Office) and removed thc first week of January. <br /> <br />First, Second and Third place awards will be issued in the following categories: <br /> <br /> High Schools <br /> Middle Schools <br /> Elementary Schools (Grades K - 2) <br /> Elementary Schools (Grades 3 - $) <br /> <br />Please complete thc registration form and return it to the County Manager's Office at P. O. Box 707, Concord, NC ~ <br />or by faxto 788-9820. <br /> <br />PRIZES**** <br /> <br />1st Place - Computer, computer software or other technolog~ equipment, up to $1,000 <br />2nd Place - Computer Software or other technology equipment, up to $.500 <br />3rd Place - Computer Software or other technology equipment, up to $250 <br /> <br />Note: Equipment/Software must be included in the technolog~ plan for the school. <br /> <br />RULES <br /> <br />1. Trees must be artificial, green in color, and no more than 7 f~t t~ll (not including the stand). Each school <br /> must provide its own tree and stand. <br /> <br />2. All decorations must be made by studcnls of the school and/or appropriate grades of thc school <br /> submitting thc ontry. <br /> <br />3. Only one entry per school, with thc exception of the clcmeetary schools which may have one entry per <br /> category (K-2 and/or 3-.5). <br /> <br />4. Mini white lights are permissible; however, no musical lights and/or ornaments may be used. <br /> <br />5.
