DRAFT <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />November 21, 1996 <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Ms. Katherine Stafford, The Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:02 <br />Members present in addition to the Chair were Ms. Janice Harkey, Mr. Ed <br />Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Mr. Walter Kiefer, Mr. Benjamin Lane and Mr. Dewey <br />Moose, Jr. Attending from the Planning Department were Mr. Jonathan B. <br />Marshall, Planning Services Director, Mr. Peter Tatge, Senior Planner, Mr <br />Michael L. Byrd, Transportation Planner, and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. AI~e <br />attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the October 17, 1996 Minutes, Mr. Kiefer <br />MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Hobbs to approve the Minutes as mailed. The <br />vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair stated she would like to make an announcement for the people in th~ <br />audience. She said if anyone came to the meeting tonight for the rezoning fo~~ <br />the property on Untz Road, it has been withdrawn. <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda, Preliminary Subdivision Plaf: <br />Approval. <br /> <br />Applicant: First Colony Group <br />Request: Preliminary Subdivision Plat Approval <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning <br />Commission from First Colony Group to have their subdivision <br />Blackwelder Farm approved preliminary. <br /> <br />Mr. Jonathan Marshall, Planning Services D/rector, addressed the <br />Board presenting the preliminary subdivision plat Blackwelder <br />Farm stating this subdivision is now called Hawick Commons. <br /> <br /> <br />
