We are requesting a permanent right-of-way thirty feet wide and one hundred feet long <br />along the east side of Glenn Avenue as shown on the enclosed plat by Mel G. Thompson and <br />Associates for construction and maintenance of the new bridge. The proposed right-of-way is <br />on the Bakers Creek Park Property. <br /> <br /> It is anticipated that a portion of the funds for this project will be provided by the Federal <br />Highway Administration (FHWA). The project will be completed in accordance with FHWA <br />procedures and standards. We hereby advise that you have a right to an appraisal of the subject <br />property and that you have a right to be present when such appraisal is conducted. <br /> <br /> I am enclosing a right-of-way document with map attached for your consideration and <br />handling. Signatures by the Rowan and Cabarrus County Commission Chairmen, notarized will <br />be required if you agree to recommend grant of the right-of-way. Please advise how you wish <br />to proceed to establish a fair price on the property. <br /> <br /> Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
