RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus <br />County that five (5) persons, all of fine character and each of <br />whom shall be a resident of, property owner in, or employed in <br />Cabarrus County shall be appointed to a Special Board of <br />Equalization and Review effective April 1, 1995, under the <br />applicable provisions of, and with the duties and powers prescribed <br />by, North Carolina General Statute §§ 105-312 and 105-322. This <br />Board shall serve until their successors have been appointed, with <br />the filling of any term vacancy to be made by the Board of <br />Commissioners. The members shall familiarize themselves with the <br />appraisal process of the valuation of property in Cabarrus County <br />and, to that end, may, and are encouraged to accompany appraisers <br />at such times as may be convenient with each member of the Board. <br />The Board of Commissioners shall fix the compensation and <br />allowances to be paid each member for their services and expenses. <br />This Resolution shall not be construed as inconsistent with any <br />prior Resolution regarding a Special Board of Equalization and <br />Review but merely is a supplement to and reiterates any such <br />Resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />
