(Use data from the first six months of the -- <br /> <br /> Measurable objectives met July 1,1994 thru December 31, 1994. <br /> <br />85% referred children served <br />83% - 10 of 12 children referred were served. Two were referred but were never~. <br />located. Two were already in placement in 7/1/94 giving a total of 14 served <br />during first six months. <br /> <br />60% prepared for long term ~lacement <br />79% - 11 of 14 returned home, placed in foster home or group home or placed with <br />relatives as determined to be the best long term placement. <br />i placed in psychiatric hospitalization. <br />2 ran away and were placed back with parents. <br /> <br />50% achieved successful adjustment for 6 months <br />50% - 7 of 14 children placed between September 1, 1993, and March 31, 1994 have-- <br />had no new court referrals and have made successful long term care placements. <br />Three of the 14 children terminated had additional court charges. Four had <br />multiple placements. One went to training school. Of the 7 successfully~' <br />adjusting to their placements, 4 are at home. <br /> <br /> Between 7/1/93 and 6/30/94, we had 26 children placed in the group home; 9 were <br />for less than 30 days, 7 for 30 to 60 days, 4 for 60- to 90 days, and 6 for the <br />maximum 90 days. If we have 5 children stay for 90 days our maximum is 20 children <br />served. <br /> <br />From 7/1/94 thru 3/20/95, we have had 15 children placed. Currently there are 3 <br />children placed in the group home as of 3/20/95. <br /> <br /> In the CBA 4th quarter report of FY-94, our statistics for the past 12 months <br />showed 66% referred by court, 66% referred as delinquent or status offenders. Our <br />performance indicators showed 71% decrease in additional court referrals, 84% <br />decrease in runaways, and 88% decrease in school suspension/expulsion. 61% were-- <br />between the ages of 14 and 17; 38% were white, 57% Black; 4% other; 53% female, 47% <br />male. 75% were active with' Juvenile Court 57% were on probation or court <br />supervision, 4% had a petition filed and 19% were at risk of Juvenile Court-- <br />involvement. 86% had successful completion of the program. 9% were removed by <br />court, 4% because of other reasons. At time of discharge 100% were enrolled in <br />school, 31% had had court referrals while placed at the group home. 18% had had at_ <br />least one runaway, 13% had' school suspension or expulsions and 4% had been in secure <br />custody. At discharge 40% went to relatives or back home, 40% went to group home 4% <br />went to other living arrangements including hospitalization and 0% went to training <br />school. -- <br /> <br /> During the first six months of this fiscal ~ear at termination all nine were <br />enrolled in school, four had no suspension or expulsions, seven had no court-- <br />referrals, six had no runaways and seven had no secure custody while in the program. <br /> <br /> <br />
