SECrlON 1.3 AUTHORITY AND [UPJSDICq/ON <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted under the authority of Chapter 153A, Article 18, Part 2 of the <br />General Statutes of North Carolina. On and after the date of adoption, these regulations <br />shall govern each and every subdivision of land within Cabarrus County and outside the <br />jurisdiction of any incorporated municipality. However, this ordinance may also regulate <br />territory within the subdivision regulation jurisdiction of any municipality whose <br />governing body by resolution agrees to such regulation provided, however, that any such <br />governing body may, upon six months writt~ notice, withdraw its approval of these <br />County Regulations, and those regulations shall not have further effect within the <br />municipality's jurisdiction. <br /> <br />SECTION 1.4 COMPLIANCE WITH ORDINANCE REQUIRED <br /> <br />Pursuant to G.S. 153 A-332 unless otherwise noted, no real property within the jurisdiction <br />of this ordinance shall be subdivided or a plat thereof recorded until; a plan has been <br />reviewed and approved by the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission as <br />provided in these regulations. Plans of group developments for housin~ commercial, <br />industrial, or other uses, or for any combination of uses shall be submittc~d in the same <br />manner as other plats for review by the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />
