Double Frontage Lot - a continuous lot accessible from both of the streets upon <br />which it fronts. Comer lots are not included unless they front on three streets. <br /> <br />Flag Lot - a lot with street frontage that is less than the minimum lot width <br />x~luired by individual district regulations, and composed of a narrow <br />"flagpole" strip extending from the street and a much wider "flag" section <br />lying immediately behind another lot or lots or portion(s) of same having the <br />required street frontage for a conventional lot: In the case of a flag lot, the lot <br />line at the end of the flagpole lying parallel to the street to which the flagpole <br />connects shall be considered to be the front lot line for setback purposes. <br /> <br />1. Flag lots in residential districts. <br /> <br />a. Minimum flagpole width of the lot is not less <br /> than 15 feet for a single lot and not less than 25 <br /> feet for two lots and; <br /> <br />b. The flagpole area may be used in calculating <br /> minimum lot size only if average lot width can <br /> be met. <br /> <br />2. Flag lots in non-residential districts. <br /> <br />a. Maximum depth of the flagpole portion of the <br /> lot does not exceed 250 feet; <br /> <br />b. Minimum flagpole width of the lot is not less <br /> than 30 fee~ and <br /> <br />c. The flagpole area is not used in calculating the <br /> minimum area of the lot. <br /> <br />KANLACON - a region defined for transportation platming purposes that includes <br />the urban areas of the towns of China Grove, Landis, Kannapolis, Concord, <br />Harrisburg, and portions of Rowan and Cabarrus Counties. <br /> <br />Lot - a portion of a subdivision or any other parcel of land intended as a unit for <br />transfer of ownership. <br /> <br /> <br />
