DD. Thoroughfare - any street designated on the adopted County or Kanlacon <br /> Metropolitan Planning Organization Thoroughfare Plan. [See definition for "Road]. <br /> <br />EE. <br /> <br />Thoroughfare Plan - the map and attendant documents approved by the Kanlacon <br />MPO member jurisdictions or in the case of the County Thoroughfare Overlay Zone <br />contained in Chapter 4, Part Ill of the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance approved <br />by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners. The adopt~l Thoroughfare Plans <br />are incorporated in this document by reference. <br /> <br />Urban Growth Area - that part of the County characterized by medium to high <br />density growth. Typically these are areas that will become incorporated at some <br />t~me and are included within an adopted area of consideration. This area may also <br />be defined by the County MDR zoning district and all zoning districts of higher <br />density. <br /> <br />Water System (Public) - shall mean a county, municipal, sanitary district~ water and <br />sewer authority or district owned system for the provision to the public of piped <br />potable water for human consumption. <br /> <br />HHe <br /> <br />Water System (Community) - shall mean a privately owned system for the provision <br />to the pubhc of piped potable water which serves 15 or more service connections or <br />which regularly serves 25 or more indiw'duals. For the purposes of regulation of <br />water quality, the state considers these systems to be Public Water Systems. <br /> <br />SECTION 2.3 WORD INTERPRETATION <br /> <br />A. For the purpose of this ordinance, certain words shall be interpreted as follows: <br /> <br />The present tense includes the future tense and future tense includes the <br />present tense. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The singular number includes the plural number and the plural number <br />includes the singular number. _ _ <br /> <br />3.
