Flint Construction Company, Lawrenceville, GA <br />5. Latex Construction Company., Conyers, GA <br />6. Pace Pipe Line Company, Greensburg, PA <br />7. Carl E. Smith, Inc., Sandyviile WV <br />8. Sunland Construction Inc., Eunice, LA <br />9. WHC, Inc., Broussard, LA <br /> <br />Drawings and specifications were provided to the invited bidders at the Pre-bid Conference <br />held at the project site on August 16, 1995, at 9:00 AM. <br /> <br />Representatives of the following eleven pipeline and directional drilling contractors attended <br />the Pre-bid Conference and received bid packages: <br /> <br />1. L.E. Bell Construction Co., Inc. <br />2. Bradford Brothers, Inc. <br />3. E & M Construction Co. <br />4. Flint Construction Company <br />5. Latex Construction Company <br />6. Micheis Pipeline Construction Co. <br />7 Pace Pipe Line Company <br />8. Carl E. Smith, Inc. <br />9. WHC, Inc. <br /> <br />Plantation Pipe Line Co. met with representatives of the two following grading contractors <br />on the afternoon of August 16: <br /> <br />1. Joe H. Ervin Grading Company, Kannapolis, NC <br />2. F.T. Williams Company, Charlotte, NC <br /> <br />VI. <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF BID OPENING: <br /> <br />Six (6) bids were received for the Pipeline-Open Trench Contract. Seven (7) bids were <br />received for Pipeline-Directional Drilling Contract.
