Cabarrus County <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />Entered and/or updated enrollee information and prepared Monthly Progress Report to <br />the Division of Aging. <br /> <br />LONG TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN PROGRAM <br /> <br />Worked with facility administrators, residents and families to resolve grievances. <br /> <br />Prepared and distributed minutes and meeting announcement for the Association of Long <br />Term Care Social Workers. <br /> <br />Planning Activities <br /> <br />Cabarrus County - Continued providing cable TV administration services. <br /> <br />Cabarrus County ~ Began preparation of first draft of the TOP Document. Met with <br />Transportation Advisory Board to discuss service design. <br /> <br />Mount Pleasant - Provided assistance to Town Board on Town Hall Renovation Plans. <br /> <br />Regional Planning Activities <br /> <br />Conducted region solid waste and recycling coordinators meeting. Reviewed current <br />status of solid waste legislation and update of regional solid waste activities. <br /> <br />Building Permit Project - Ongoing update of current data. Provided custom reports upon <br />request. Compiled key data elements for a 5-year analytical review. Prepared maps of <br />five year growth patterns. <br /> <br />Data Center - Continued to monitor and collect statistical information relating to <br />municipalities and counties within the Region and State. Disseminated information upon <br />request to local governments and private sector. <br /> <br />Small Cities CDBG - Working to have regional allotment of CDBG-CR funds by Division <br />of Community Assistance (DCA), met with State and local officials. <br /> <br />Watershed Conference - Over forty planners and elected officials attended a half day <br />conference in Mooresville sponsored by Centralina. Issues discussed were changes to <br />the State's watershed sides, alternatives to wet detention ponds, and regional watershed <br />management plans. <br /> <br /> <br />
