Property Maintenance <br /> <br /> The Property Maintenance Division of the Cabarrus <br />County Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for a <br />wide range of duties. These include and are not limited to: <br />complete set-~up of tents, temporary fencing, signs, tables and <br />chairs, stages, award sections, and refreshment areas for <br />special events. This includes delivery, set-up, tear-down and <br />restocking of supplies and fixtures. Special even ts are Ho Ii day <br />Highlights at Frank Liske Park, Run for Your Life and Share <br />Cabarrus at Downtown Concord, Special Olympics at Mt. <br />Pleasant High School and Senior Games at Myers Park. <br /> <br /> Other duties are complete landscape maintenance at all <br />county owned properties: Senior Center, Governmental Cen- <br />ter, Old and New Courthouses, Parking Lots #1 and #2, <br />General Services building, Ambulance Stations #1, #2, #3, <br />Health Department and Health Department Annex, Kan napolis <br />Library, County Office Complex, Landfill, Animal Shelter, <br />Sheriff's Department Training Center, and all parking lots at <br />each property. <br /> <br /> Property Maintenance is also responsible for the athletic <br />fields at Frank Liske Park and all Cabarrus County schools <br />outside the city limits. All fields are mowed, over seeded, <br />fertilized, and set-up for each type of game they will be used <br />for. All fields and fences are repaired as needed, bases and <br />lights are checked once each season. <br /> <br /> All landscape equipment owned by Cabarms County is <br />maintained and repaired by Property Maintenance personnel. <br />All landscape and athletic supplies are purchased by and <br />stored at Property Maintenance building. <br /> <br /> Several times each year Property Maintenance person- <br />nel are requested to assist in projects at Frank Liske Park and <br />B~ers Creek Park; this is to ensure successful operations of <br />each park facility. <br /> <br /> Property Maintenance consists of five full-time employ- <br />ees and several community service worker volunteers. The <br />key to our success is pride in our work and setting priorities. <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br /> <br />
