It is <br />therefore, the purpose of this section is to eliminate existing junked <br />and abandoned vehicles and to prevent future storage of these <br />vehicles. <br /> <br />From the date of the adoption of this amendment, no junked or <br />abandoned vehicles shall be stored on any lot within any residential, <br />commercial, or industrial zoning district that can be easily seen from <br />an adjacent property or a public right-of-way. (This section does not <br />apply to the Agricultural/Open Space Zoning DistricO <br /> <br />Exceptions - This section does not apply to any motor vehicle that is: <br /> <br />1. Is stored in an enclosed building; <br /> <br /> 2. On the premises of a business enterprise being operated in a <br />lawful place and manner if the vehicle is necessary to the operation of <br />the business; <br /> <br /> 3. Is presently being restored to an operable stage, this is <br />limited to one vehicle; <br /> <br /> 4. Cannot be easily seen from a public right-of-way or adjacent <br />property line. <br /> <br />Any violation of this section will be processed just as any other <br />violation of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 2-2 Definitions, add the following definitions: <br /> <br />Abandoned Vehicle - Any motor vehicle that is: <br /> <br /> 1. Left on public grounds or county-owned property in <br />violation of a law or ordinance prohibiting parking; <br /> <br /> 2. Left for longer than 24 hours on property owned or operated <br />by the county; <br /> <br /> 3. Left for longer than two hours on private property without <br />the consent or the owner, occupant, or lessee of the property; <br /> <br /> <br />
